Energy-efficient dyeing of wool fabrics with sulfonic acid derivatives of aniline by oxidation polymerization

چکیده

Traditionally, wool fibers are dyed with acid dyes at the boil, which is energy-intensive process, and increases cost of dyeing. The development alternative energy-efficient dyeing processes quite attractive to textile industry make sustainable. In this work, feasibility low-temperature fabric several aniline sulfonic (ASA) derivatives by oxidative polymerization method was investigated. effect dyebath conditions, such as monomer concentration, oxidant ratio, pH, temperature, time on shade produced color strength systematically studied. treatment various ASAs yellowish-brown shades tonal change. conditions had a great colorfastness washing. optimum were found be pH 3, 30 °C, 60 min. excellent washing exhibited ASA-treated fabrics (colorfastness grades from 4 4–5) showed that developed could used for coloration other polyamide fibers.
